Rabbits’ teeth grow continuously because they eat coarse grass which wears the teeth down. Domestic rabbits are fed commercial diets which are really good for rabbit health, but detrimental to their teeth because they do not cause the required wear. Rabbits MUST EAT GRASS to keep the teeth wearing normally. If they don’t, the teeth can become overgrown within months.
